Myeloma is twice as deadly for Blacks. Why? Watch Dr. Cole discuss racial disparities and implications for treatment.

Myeloma, which is also called multiple myeloma, is a cancer of the plasma cells. It disproportionately impacts Black individuals as multiple myeloma is twice as common and twice as deadly in Black patients compared to white patients. In fact, researchers reveal 1 in every 5 patients diagnosed with multiple myeloma in the U.S. is African American.
